John Thompson was born in 1688 in Oyster River, Province of New Hampshire, now Durham, Strafford County.1 He was the son of John Thompson and Sarah Woodman.1 John Thompson married Mary Davis circa 1715 in Dover, Province of New Hampshire, now Strafford County.1 John Thompson died after February 1753.1
