Sarah Browne was born circa 1676 in Newbury, Massachusetts Bay Colony.2,3 She married Thomas Wells, son of John Wells and Sarah Littlefield, on 14 May 1696 in Newbury, Province of Massachusetts Bay.4,1 Sarah Browne died on 10 August 1703 in Wells, Province of Massachusetts Bay, now Maine. She and their children were killed by Indians.1

Lydia Ropes was born on 26 December 1672 in Salem, Massachusetts Bay Colony.1 She was the daughter of John Ropes and Lydia Wells.1 Lydia Ropes married Abraham Gale on 31 March 1696 in Salem, Province of Massachusetts Bay.1 She married as her second husband Thomas Wells , son of John Wells and Sarah Littlefield, on 12 October 1704 in Salem, Province of Massachusetts Bay.1,2 Lydia Ropes died on 6 March 1745/46 in Wells, Province of Massachusetts Bay, now Maine, at age 73.2

Joseph Parsons Greenleaf was born on 13 August 1809 in Lancaster, Coos County, New Hampshire.1,2 He was the son of David Greenleaf and Ruth Stockwell.1 Joseph Parsons Greenleaf married as his first wife Mary Sarah McKoy, daughter of Robert McKoy and Anne Wilson, on 8 March 1836 in Lyndon, Caledonia County, Vermont, by the Rev. R. H. Deming.4,1,2 Joseph Parsons Greenleaf married as his second wife Cyrene (?) after 1853.5 Joseph Parsons Greenleaf died on 26 February 1897 in West Medford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, at age 87.1
He and Mary Sarah McKoy appeared on the 1850 Federal census of Burke, Caledonia County, Vermont, enumerated 3 August 1850 his occupation was listed as miller.6 Joseph Parsons Greenleaf and Cyrene (?) appeared on the 1860 Federal census of 6th ward, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, enumerated 30 June 1860 his occupation was listed as millwright.. His children Mary Frances and Charles Henry were listed as living with him.7 Joseph Parsons Greenleaf and Cyrene (?) appeared on the 1880 Federal census of Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, enumerated 2 June 1880.5

She was recorded as Sarah Ann.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Robert McKoy and Anne Wilson.1,3 Mary Sarah McKoy married Joseph Parsons Greenleaf, son of David Greenleaf and Ruth Stockwell, on 8 March 1836 in Lyndon, Caledonia County, Vermont, by the Rev. R. H. Deming.4,1,2 Mary Sarah McKoy died on 1 September 1853 in West Burke, Caledonia County, Vermont, at age 38.1,2
