     Susanna Witham was born on 29 November 1668. She was the daughter of Robert and Ann (Stainridge) Witham.1,2 She married Richard Stockton, son of Richard Stockton and Abigail Bloomfield, on 8 November 1691 in Province of West Jersey At the Chesterfield Friends monthly meeting.. She was the widow of Thomas Robinson. They had 5 other children.1 Susanna Witham died in April 1749 in Province of New Jersey at age 80.1

     Richard Stockton was born circa 1635 in Malpas, Chester, England. He was descended from John Stockton, Esquire of Kiddington in the parish of Malpas and county of Chester, England.1 He married Abigail Bloomfield in 1652 in England They had 8 other children.1 Richard Stockton died on 25 September 1707 in Annanicken, Flushing, Province of New Jersey.1,2
     He and Abigail Bloomfield immigrated before November 1656. Their son Richard traveled with them. This date is based on the first record of the family in New Jersey.1 Richard Stockton left a will on 25 January 1705/6.1 His will was proved/probated on 10 October 1707.1
