     Esther Goodyear was born on 12 May 1654 in New Haven, New Haven Colony, now Connecticut.1 She was the daughter of Stephen Goodyear and Margaret Lewen.1 Esther Goodyear was baptized in 1654 in New Haven, New Haven Colony, now Connecticut.1 She married Nathan Smith, son of George Smith and Sarah Bourne, on 10 August 1682 in New Haven, Connecticut Colony, by John Nash.2 Esther Goodyear died on 9 February 1690/91 in New Haven, Connecticut Colony, at age 36. She was recorded as Hester.2

William Gibbard1

b. circa 1620, d. 9 August 1662
     William Gibbard was born circa 1620 in Stratford, Warwickshire, England.1 He married Anna Tapp, daughter of Edmund Tapp and Ann (?), before 1641.1 William Gibbard died on 9 August 1662 in New Haven, New Haven Colony, now Connecticut.1,2,3
     He left a will on 6 August 1662. He bequeathed property in Tamworth, Warwickshire, England left to him by his uncle Cook to eldest son, Samuel, his own estate in New England to wife Anne, children Mary, Phebe, Sarah, Rebeckah, Timothy & Abigail. He mentions his deceased daughter Hester and the legacy left to the children by their grandparents Tapp. He named Timothy Gibbard of Calladownhouse near Coventry, England, "brother" in his will. The estate inventory was taken 30 April 1663 and totaled 290 pounds, 7s, 6d.4,5

William Andrews1

b. 7 December 1605, d. before 8 August 1659
     William Andrews was born on 7 December 1605 in England.1 He was the son of William Andrews.2 William Andrews married Abigail Graves before 1629 in England.1 William Andrews died before 8 August 1659 in Connecticut Colony.1
     He and Abigail Graves immigrated on the James, departing from Southampton, England April 5, 1635, arriving 3 June 1635 in Charlestown, Massachusetts Bay Colony. Their children William and Samuel traveled with them.3 William Andrews left a will on 1 April 1659.1 His estate was inventoried on 8 August 1659.1

     Richard Sperry was born on 16 February 1606 in Thurleigh, Bedfordshire, England. Tradition says that he came to New Haven as gardner or agent for the Earl of Warwick.1,2,3 He was the son of John Sperry and Mary (?)3 Richard Sperry married Denis Goodyear before 1648.1,2 Richard Sperry died in 1698 in New Haven, Connecticut Colony.2,4
     He immigrated in 1637 on the Hector, arriving in Massachusetts Bay Colony.4 He became a freeman in 1644 in New Haven, New Haven Colony, now Connecticut.2 He left a will on 18 April 1693 in New Haven, Connecticut Colony. His will is recorded in the New Haven Probate Records, Vol II, pp. 230-1.2
