     William Twining was born on 25 October 1619 in Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England.¹ He was the son of William Twining and Anne Doane.³ William Twining married Elizabeth Deane, daughter of Stephen Deane and Elizabeth Ring, circa 1650.¹ William Twining died on 4 November 1703 in Newton, Province of Pennsylvania, at age 84.¹

     Miriam Deane was born circa 1632 in Plymouth, Plymouth Colony, now Plymouth County, Massachusetts.¹ She was the daughter of Stephen Deane and Elizabeth Ring.^1,2 Miriam Deane married John Wing , son of John Wing and Deborah Bachiler, after 31 January 1692/93 in Barnstable, Province of Massachusetts Bay.^1,2 Miriam Deane died circa 1702 in Harwich, Province of Massachusetts Bay.^1,3,2
