     James Gourley Widdison was born on 21 September 1879 in Salt Lake City, Utah Territory. He was the son of James G. and Alice (Pinney) Widdison.3,2 He married Lillian Elnora Gardner, daughter of Archibald Gardner and Mary Larsen, on 18 September 1907 in Logan, Cache County, Utah.4,3,1 James Gourley Widdison died on 10 August 1938 in Ogden, Weber County, Utah, at age 58.3 He was buried on 14 August 1938 in Hooper, Weber County, Utah.
     He appeared on the 1880 Federal census of Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah Territory, enumerated 9 June 1880 in the household of his parents James and Alice Widdison. His father, a blacksmith was from Scotland, his mother from England..5 He appeared on the 1900 Federal census of Hooper, Weber County, Utah, enumerated 12 June 1900 in the household of his parents.6 He and Lillian Elnora Gardner appeared on the 1910 Federal census of Hooper, Weber County, Utah, enumerated 28 April 1910. Their children Marion and Vilate were listed as living with them.7 James Gourley Widdison registered for the draft for World War I on 12 September 1918, while living at Hooper, Weber County, Utah, reporting he was employed as a farmer.2 He and Lillian Elnora Gardner appeared on the 1920 Federal census of Hooper, Weber County, Utah, enumerated 17 January 1920. Their children Vilate, Marion, Elbert Gardner, Howard J., Margaret and Milton Gardner were listed as living with them.8 James Gourley Widdison and Lillian Elnora Gardner appeared on the 1930 Federal census of Hooper, Weber County, Utah enumerated 9 April 1930. Their children Elbert Gardner, Howard J., Margaret, Milton Gardner, Archibald Gardner and Don Gardner were listed as living with them.9

     Wilford Woodruff Gardner was born on 17 May 1886 in West Jordan, Utah Territory.2,3 He was the son of Archibald Gardner and Mary Larsen.1 Wilford Woodruff Gardner married Annie Gray Butler on 17 December 1913 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah.4,2 Wilford Woodruff Gardner died on 14 November 1978 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, at age 92.3 He was buried on 17 November 1978 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah.5
