     Mary Parrott was born on 3 April 1839 in Belfast, Ulster, Northern Ireland.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Parrott.1 Mary Parrott married John Kinney on 3 May 1863 in St. Patrick's Church, St. Louis, St. Louis County, Missouri.1 Mary Parrott died on 23 May 1906 in Nokomis, Montgomery County, Illinois, at age 67.1
     She immigrated with her father after her mother died in Ireland.1 She and John Kinney appeared on the 1870 Federal census of Nokomis, Montgomery County, Illinois, enumerated 20 July 1870. Their children James and Thomas were listed as living with them.2 Mary Parrott and John Kinney appeared on the 1880 Federal census of Nokomis, Montgomery County, Illinois, enumerated June 1880. Their children James, Thomas, John, William E., Mary, Richard and Kathryn were listed as living with them.3 Mary Parrott and John Kinney appeared on the 1900 Federal census of Nokomis, Montgomery County, Illinois, enumerated 9 June 1900. Their children Mary and Kathryn were listed as living with them.4

     Francis Marion Sawyer was born on 17 January 1840 in West Prairie, Madison County, Illinois.1 He was the son of Valentine Sawyer and Mary Ann Spence.1 Francis Marion Sawyer married as his first wife Hannah Elizabeth Bissell, daughter of Lawrence Bissell and Emeline (?), on 20 January 1861 in Staunton, Macoupin County, Illinois.1 Francis Marion Sawyer married as his second wife Sena I. Birt on 11 September 1873.1 Francis Marion Sawyer died on 27 March 1915 in Nokomis, Montgomery County, Illinois, at age 75.1
     He appeared on the 1860 Federal census of Township 7 Range 7, Macoupin County, Illinois, in the household of his father Valentine Sawyer.2 Francis Marion Sawyer and Hannah Elizabeth Bissell appeared on the 1870 Federal census of Irving, Montgomery County, Illinois, enumerated 23 June 1870 He was enumerated as "M" and she as Lizzie.. Their children Francis, William Lafayette, Ida Adelia and Serepta Jane were listed as living with them.3 Francis Marion Sawyer and Sena I. Birt appeared on the 1880 Federal census of Nokomis, Montgomery County, Illinois, enumerated 19 June 1880. Their daughter Eva Estella was listed as living with them, His children Francis Sawyer, William Lafayette Sawyer and Ida Adelia Sawyer were also in the household.4 Francis Marion Sawyer and Sena I. Birt appeared on the 1900 Federal census of Nokomis, Montgomery County, Illinois, enumerated 2 June 1900. Their children Eva Estella, Ethel Hetty and Lester Edward were listed as living with them.5 Francis Marion Sawyer and Sena I. Birt appeared on the 1910 Federal census of Nokomis, Montgomery County, Illinois, enumerated 27 April 1910. Their son Lester Edward was listed as living with them.6

     Hannah Elizabeth Bissell was born on 10 February 1840 in New Douglas, Macoupin County, Illinois.1 She was the daughter of Lawrence Bissell and Emeline (?)1 Hannah Elizabeth Bissell married Francis Marion Sawyer, son of Valentine Sawyer and Mary Ann Spence, on 20 January 1861 in Staunton, Macoupin County, Illinois.1 Hannah Elizabeth Bissell died on 19 November 1872 in Belmont, Gonzalez County, Texas, at age 32.1
     She and Francis Marion Sawyer appeared on the 1870 Federal census of Irving, Montgomery County, Illinois, enumerated 23 June 1870 He was enumerated as "M" and she as Lizzie.. Their children Francis, William Lafayette, Ida Adelia and Serepta Jane were listed as living with them.2

     Sarah Callis was born on 14 December 1762.1,2 She was the daughter of Francis Callis and Jane McFarland.1 Sarah Callis married as her first husband Edward Waller on 31 January 1787 in Westmoreland County, Virginia.1,2,3 Sarah Callis married as her second husband Col. Luke Hanson on 13 November 1795 in Bourbon County, Kentucky.4,5,1 Sarah Callis died on 20 March 1848 in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana, at age 85.1,2
     The book "Indiana and Indianans" says that the widow Sarah Hanson came to Indianapolis in the winter of 1826 with her five daughters. The family came from Bourbon County, Kentucky.6

William Callis1,2

     William Callis was born date unknown. General Hawkins calls him a French Hugenot so he was probably born in France.1,2 He died after 5 November 1747 in Colony of Virginia.1
     William was also known as Calas; Calas was the original French spelling. William anglicized it to Callis.1,2 He was a ship's carpenter.1 He left a will on 5 November 1747. His will mentions a wife Sarah and children John, Francis, Ambrose, Thomas, William, James and Richard.2,3 His will was proved/probated on 29 May 1750 in Colony of Virginia.4

     Edward's birth date is unknown.1 He married Sarah Callis, daughter of Francis Callis and Jane McFarland, on 31 January 1787 in Westmoreland County, Virginia.1,2,3 Edward Waller died in 1791.1
     He left a will on 15 June 1791 in Virginia, now Kentucky. Will Book A p. 100 will of Edward WALLER of Bourbon co. Va. My mother may
