     Sarah White was born in October 1663 in Marshfield, Plymouth Colony, now Plymouth County, Massachusetts.^1,2 She was the daughter of Peregrine White and Sarah Basset.^1,2 Sarah White married Thomas Young in January 1688/89 in Scituate, Plymouth Colony, now Massachusetts.^1,3,2 Sarah White died on 9 August 1755 in Scituate, Province of Massachusetts Bay, at age 91.^1,2

     Thomas Young was born on 5 November 1663 in Scituate, Plymouth Colony, now Plymouth County, Massachusetts. He was the son of George and Hannah (Pinson) Young.^1,2,3 He married Sarah White, daughter of Peregrine White and Sarah Basset, in January 1688/89 in Scituate, Plymouth Colony, now Massachusetts.^1,2,3 Thomas Young died on 25 December 1732 in Scituate, Province of Massachusetts Bay, at age 69.^1,2,3

     Sylvanus White was born circa 1667 in Marshfield, Plymouth Colony, now Plymouth County, Massachusetts.^1,2 He was the son of Peregrine White and Sarah Basset.^1,2 Sylvanus White died before 29 June 1688 in Scituate, Plymouth Colony, now Massachusetts.^1,2

     Mercy White was born circa 1670 in Marshfield, Plymouth Colony, now Plymouth County, Massachusetts.^1,2 She was the daughter of Peregrine White and Sarah Basset.^1,2 Mercy White married William Sherman, son of William and Desire (Doty) Sherman on 3 February 1697 in Marshfield, Province of Massachusetts Bay.² She died on 12 June 1739 in Marshfield, Province of Massachusetts Bay.^1,2

     John Scudder was born in 1590 in Horton Kirby, Kent, England.¹ He was the son of Henry Scudder and Elizabeth (?)¹ John Scudder married Elizabeth Stoughton, daughter of Rev. Thomas Stoughton and Katherine Montpesson, in 1613.^2,1 John Scudder died in 1625 in Strood, Kent, England.¹

     William M. Jones was born on 6 September 1813 in Tazewell, Tazewell County, Virginia.¹ He was the son of Charles Jones and Phoebe Workman.¹ William M. Jones married Rebecca Jane Morris in 1833.^1,2 William M. Jones died on 13 February 1913 in Rulo, Richardson County, Nebraska, at age 99.¹
     He and Rebecca Jane Morris appeared on the 1850 Federal census of Liberty, Johnson County, Iowa, enumerated 24 August 1850 along with eight other children.³ William M. Jones and Rebecca Jane Morris appeared on the 1900 Federal census of Rulo, Richardson County, Nebraska, enumerated 7 June 1900. They were living with their son Lewis, his daughter and his nephew.²

     Rebecca Jane Morris was born on 28 January 1810 in Washington County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of John and Margaret Morris from New Jersey.¹ She married William M. Jones, son of Charles Jones and Phoebe Workman, in 1833.^1,2 Rebecca Jane Morris died on 12 October 1909 in Rulo, Richardson County, Nebraska, at age 99.¹
     She and William M. Jones appeared on the 1850 Federal census of Liberty, Johnson County, Iowa, enumerated 24 August 1850 along with eight other children.³ Rebecca Jane Morris and William M. Jones appeared on the 1900 Federal census of Rulo, Richardson County, Nebraska, enumerated 7 June 1900. They were living with their son Lewis, his daughter and his nephew.²

     Charles Jones was born on 1 February 1784 in Caroline County, Virginia.¹ He married Phoebe Workman on 11 November 1811.¹ Charles Jones died on 12 June 1870 in Windsor, Sonoma County, California, at age 86.¹

     Phoebe Workman was born on 12 May 1793 in North Carolina. She was the daughter of Abraham and Margaret (Leitner) Workman.¹ She married Charles Jones on 11 November 1811.¹ Phoebe Workman died on 4 September 1873 in Sonoma County, California, at age 80.¹
     She appeared on the 1870 Federal census of Analy, Sonoma County, California, enumerated 2 September 1870 in the household of Rebecca and William Stetson (probably her daughter).²

     John Moss was born on 12 October 1650 in New Haven, New Haven Colony, now Connecticut. He was the son of John Moss the immigrant.^3,1 He married Martha Lathrop, daughter of Samuel Lathrop and Elizabeth Scudder, on 12 December 1677 in Wallingford, Connecticut Colony.^1,2 John Moss died on 31 March 1717 in Wallingford, Connecticut Colony, at age 66.^1,2

     Henry Bartholomew was born in 1607 in Burford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He was the son of William Bartholomew and Freswede Metcalf.¹ Henry Bartholomew married Elizabeth Scudder, daughter of Thomas Scudder and Elizabeth (?), in 1640 in Burford, Oxfordshire, England.^1,2 Henry Bartholomew died on 22 November 1692 in Salem, Province of Massachusetts Bay.^1,3 He was buried in Charter Street Burying Ground, Salem, Province of Massachusetts Bay.⁴
     He immigrated on 7 November 1635.⁴ He became a freeman on 17 May 1637.⁴ He was a merchant and town clerk.⁴

     Elizabeth Scudder was born on 12 May 1622 in Burford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Scudder and Elizabeth (?)^1,2 Elizabeth Scudder married Henry Bartholomew, son of William Bartholomew and Freswede Metcalf, in 1640 in Burford, Oxfordshire, England.^1,2 Elizabeth Scudder died on 1 September 1682 in Salem, Massachusetts Bay Colony, at age 60.^1,3,2 She was buried in Charter Street Burying Ground, Salem, Massachusetts Bay Colony.
     She immigrated, departing from England circa 1640 in Salem, Massachusetts Bay Colony, now Essex County, with her parents Thomas Scudder and Elizabeth (?).⁴

Compiler's notes: Much of the information available on the Scudders is confused. Many on-line sources have Elizabeth Scudder Lathrop and her cousin Elizabeth Scudder Bartholomew the same person - a physical impossibility. That they both had brothers named John has added to the confusion.

     Hannah Bartholomew was born before 12 February 1643/44 in Salem, Massachusetts Bay Colony.^1,2 She was baptized on 12 February 1643/44 in Salem, Massachusetts Bay Colony.² She was the daughter of Henry Bartholomew and Elizabeth Scudder.^1,2 Hannah Bartholomew married as her first husband James Browne on 5 September 1664 in Salem, Massachusetts Bay Colony.² Hannah Bartholomew married as her second husband Dr. John Swinerton on 8 March 1679/80 in Salem, Massachusetts Bay Colony.² Hannah Bartholomew died on 23 December 1713 in Salem, Province of Massachusetts Bay.^1,2

     Abigail Bartholomew was born before 6 October 1650 in Salem, Massachusetts Bay Colony.^1,3 She was baptized on 6 October 1650 in Salem, Massachusetts Bay Colony.³ She was the daughter of Henry Bartholomew and Elizabeth Scudder.^1,3 Abigail Bartholomew married Nehemiah Willoughby on 2 January 1672 in Charlestown, Massachusetts Bay Colony.² Abigail Bartholomew died on 2 September 1702 in Salem, Province of Massachusetts Bay.^1,3
