     Neil Livingston Gardner was born on 17 December 1843 in Warwick, Province of Canada, Colony of Canada, now Ontario.1 He was the son of William Gardner and Janet Livingston.1 Neil Livingston Gardner married Mary Ellen Gardner, daughter of Archibald Gardner and Margaret Livingston, on 16 February 1869 in Salt Lake City, Utah Territory.2,1 Neil Livingston Gardner died on 20 December 1923 in West Jordan, Salt Lake County, Utah, at age 80.1 He was buried on 23 December 1923 in West Jordan, Salt Lake County, Utah.
     He migrated to Utah in the company led by Archibald Gardner.3 Neil Livingston Gardner and Mary Ellen Gardner appeared on the 1870 Federal census of West Jordan, Utah Territory, enumerated 2 August 1870. He was the son of James and Mary Ann (Finch) Turner.2 He married Mary Elizabeth Gardner, daughter of Archibald Gardner and Mary Ann Bradford, on 25 September 1865 in Endowment House, Salt Lake City, Utah Territory.3 William Alonzo Turner died on 17 October 1906 in Turnerville, Uinta County, Wyoming, now Lincoln County, at age 62.4,2 He was buried on 21 October 1906 in Grover Cemetery, Grover, Uinta County, Wyoming, now Lincoln County.2

Their children Lenore, Marvin Gardner, Valois, Laurel, Preston, Norma and Esther Wainwright were listed as living with them.6
