     Martha Brooks was born circa 1626.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Brooks and Unidentified Wife.¹ Martha Brooks married Thomas Bateman in 1643.¹ Martha Brooks died on 3 August 1665 in Concord, Massachusetts Bay Colony.^1,2

     Thomas Brooks was born in 1617 in England. This Thomas is often listed as a son of either Henry Brooks of Woburn or Thomas Brooks of Concord. Both are incorrect.² He was the son of ? Brooks.² Thomas Brooks married Marah Alice Spencer, daughter of Sargeant Jared Spencer and Hannah Hill, before 1662 in Haddam, Connecticut Colony, now Middlesex County.² Thomas Brooks died on 18 October 1668 in Haddam, Connecticut Colony, now Middlesex County.²
     He immigrated on the Susan & Ellen, arriving 16 April 1635 in Boston, Massachusetts Bay Colony, traveling with Richard Brooks, his brother.^2,3

     Dorothy Ober was born on 9 May 1896 in Beverly, Essex County, Massachusetts.¹ She married Philip Gale Butler, son of Robert Paul Butler and Emily Joslyn, on 28 April 1939 in Winchester, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.¹ Dorothy Ober died on 8 May 1955 in Miami, Dade County, Florida, at age 58.¹

     Captain Hugh Mason was born in 1606 in Maldon, Essex, England. He may have been the brother or Major John Mason, but there is no proof.      Daniel Mason was born on 19 February 1647/48 in Watertown, Massachusetts Bay Colony.^1,2,3,4 He was the son of Captain Hugh Mason and Hester Wells.^2,3,4 Daniel Mason died in 1698. "He was a physician and in that capacity sailed from Charlestown Mass., 1679, James Ellison, Mr., of vessel. He was captured by a Barbary Corsair and carried into Algiers and is supposed to have died in slavery, 1698.^1,4
     He graduated from Harvard College, Cambridge, Massachusetts Bay Colony, in 1666.^1,2,3

     Elizabeth Remington was born circa 1632 in Rowley, Massachusetts Bay Colony, now Essex County. She was the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Knight) Remington.² She married Lieut. John Stedman, son of Thomas Stedman, before 1650.³ Elizabeth Remington died before 1664.²

     Benjamin Pierce was born in 1649 in Watertown, Massachusetts Bay Colony. He was the son of Anthony and Ann Pierce.^6,1,4,5 He married Hannah Brooks, daughter of Capt. Joshua Brooks and Hannah Mason, on 15 January 1676/77 in Watertown, Massachusetts Bay Colony, 8 children.^7,8,1,2,4,5 His death date has not been found.

     Deborah Garfield was born in 1663 in Watertown, Massachusetts Bay Colony. She was the daughter of Samuel and Mary (Benfield) Garfield.^2,3 She married as her first husband John Brooks, son of Capt. Joshua Brooks and Hannah Mason, on 8 November 1682 in Sudbury, Massachusetts Bay Colony.^1,2,4 Deborah Garfield married as her second husband Josiah Pratt on 13 December 1715 in Concord, Province of Massachusetts Bay.⁴ Deborah Garfield died on 24 March 1732 in Sudbury, Province of Massachusetts Bay.⁵

     Ann Cooper Merriam was born on 7 September 1669 in Concord, Massachusetts Bay Colony. She was the daughter of John and Mary (Cooper) Meriam.^2,3,4,5,6 She married Ensign Daniel Brooks, son of Capt. Joshua Brooks and Hannah Mason, on 26 June 1706 in Concord, Province of Massachusetts Bay, They were married by Rev. Joseph Estabrook.      He was part of an expedition to South Carolina in 1695 with his wife Elizabeth and inlaws Hannah and Capt. Joshua Brooks. They all returned to Massachusetts.²

     Ebenezer Merriam was born circa 1670.¹ He married Elizabeth Brooks, daughter of Gershom Brooks and Hannah Eckles, on 6 December 1705 in Concord, Province of Massachusetts Bay.^3,4 His death date has not been found.
