     Elizabeth Davis was born in 1634 in Kent, England.1 She was the daughter of Dolor Davis and Margery Willard.2 Elizabeth Davis married William Owen on 29 September 1650 in Braintree, Massachusetts Bay Colony, now Norfolk County.3 Elizabeth Davis died on 3 June 1702 in Braintree, Province of Massachusetts Bay, now Norfolk County. The vital records say that she "dyed being drowned with water through want of strength to wade through the same (as was judged) & also being impaired in her reason and understanding."3
     Elizabeth was also known as Davies. She immigrated on the Elizabeth, departing from London, England, April 17, 1635, arriving circa June 1635 with her mother Margery Willard.2,4

     She and her husband Simon Dakin were part of an expedition to South Carolina in 1695 along with her parents Hannah and Capt. Joshua Brooks. They all returned to Massachusetts.5
