Samuel Hale was born on 2 February 1639/40 in Newbury, Massachusetts Bay Colony, now Essex County.2,4,3 He was the son of Thomas Hale and Thomasine Dowsett.4 Samuel Hale married Sarah Ilsley on 21 July 1673 in Newbury, Massachusetts Bay Colony.2,3,5 Samuel Hale died on 5 November 1709 in Woodbridge, Province of New Jersey, at age 69.
