     Rev. James Beveridge was born on 9 November 1796 in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland.1,2 He was the son of (?) Beveridge.2 Rev. James Beveridge married Vashti Decker before 1822.3 Rev. James Beveridge died on 4 March 1855 in Newburgh, Orange County, New York, at age 58.1,2 He was buried in Old Town Cemetery, Newburgh, Orange County, New York, Tombstone inscription: Waiting for the adoption, to wit: the redemption of the body. Romans 8 cap. 23 verse.1,2,4

     Jean-Hyppolyte Gaultier De Varennes was born on 7 September 1717 in Montreal, Nouvelle France, Quebec, Canada.1 He was the son of Jacques-Rene Gaultier and Marie-Jeanne LeMoyne.1 Jean-Hyppolyte de Varennes died on 25 November 1761 at age 44 while being deported to France after the Brittish conquered Canada. He died in a boat disaster off Cape Breton.2
     Jean-Hyppolyte was also known as Jean-Hyppolyte de Varennes.2

Tanguay lists his birthdate as 1634.1,3 He was the son of Adam-Pierre Gaultier de la Verandiere and Bertrande Gourdeau.1 Rene Gaultier de Varennes married Marie-Ursule Boucher, daughter of Pierre Boucher Sieur de Boucheerville and Jeanne Crevier, on 22 September 1667.3,4 Rene Gaultier de Varennes died on 4 June 1689 in Trois-Rivieres, Nouvelle France, now Quebec, Canada.1,3 He was buried on 5 June 1689 in Trois-Rivieres, Nouvelle France, now Quebec, Canada.1
     He immigrated , arriving September 1665. Arrive au Canada en septembre 1665, lieutenant cie de Loubais, ensuite gouverneur de Trois-Rivieres.1
