Judith Phippen was born in 1618 in England.1 She was the daughter of William Phipping and Judith (?)2 Judith Phippen married as her first husband John Hayward in 1635 (they were married on board the Planter on the voyage from London.)1 Judith Phippen married as her second husband William Simonds , son of William Symonds, on 18 January 1643/44 in Woburn, Massachusetts Bay Colony.1,3 Judith Phippen died on 3 January 1688/89 in Woburn, Massachusetts Bay Colony.1,3
She and John Hayward immigrated on the Planter, departing from London, England April 1635, arriving 7 June 1635 in Boston, Massachusetts Bay Colony. Their names were recorded on the passenger list on 22 March 1634/5. They were servants of Nicholas Davis from Stepney. It is most likely they came from Stepney as well.1,4,5
