     Harvey Gibbons was born on 15 December 1905 in Oasis, Millard County, Utah, He was the son of Albert and Fannie (Moore) Gibbons.2,1,3 He married Mildred Shields, daughter of Wallace L. Shields and Clemmy Caroline Gardner, on 4 September 1930 in Utah.2,1 Harvey Gibbons died in January 1974 in Salt Lake County, Utah, at age 68. His last residence was Drape, UT.1
     He appeared on the 1920 Federal census of Wanship, Summit County, Utah, enumerated 3 January 1920 in the household of his parents Albery and Fannie Gibbons..3 He appeared on the 1930 Federal census of Oakley, Summit County, Utah enumerated 28 April 1930. He was living in the household of his brother Glen.4 He and Mildred Shields appeared on the 1940 Federal census of Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, enumerated 25 April 1940. Their son Ralph W. Gibbons was listed as living with them.5

     He went to Martinique in the military where he aquired a large fortune. He never married so his fortune went to the state when he died.2
