     Rev. Enoch Morgan was born on 22 July 1812 in Rutherford County, North Carolina.1,3,2 He was the son of Jesse Morgan and Mary Grant.1,2 Rev. Enoch Morgan married Rebecca Morgan, daughter of Jonathan Morgan and Rebecca Wilkerson, on 12 November 1855 in Buncombe County, North Carolina. There were four children from this marriage - Miriam, Josephine (married John J. Miller), Judson Enoch (married Maru E. Israel) and Sarah (married Dallas B. Jamison).3,2 Rev. Enoch Morgan died on 11 June 1895 in Buncombe County, North Carolina, at age 82.1,3,2 He was buried in Hominy Baptist Church Cemetery, Candler, Buncombe County, North Carolina.3
