Norman Fox was born on 17 September 1792 in Hoosick Falls, Rensselaer County, New York.2,3,4 He was the son of Jehial Fox and Jerusha Baldwin. Norman Fox married as his first wife Jane DeHart Freeman, daughter of William Freeman and Betsy Cheesbrough, on 23 February 1831.2,3 Norman Fox married as his second wife Mary Ann Chapman on 8 August 1854.2,3 Norman Fox died on 3 October 1863 in Painted Post, Steuben County, New York, at age 71.2,3 He was buried in Ballston Spa Village Cemetery, Ballston Spa, Saratoga County, New York.2,3,5

Their children Alanson Jehiel, William Freeman, Mary Elizabeth, George Henry and Charles James were listed as living with them.7
