Their daughter Wallis Kirtley was listed as living with them, along with son-in-law Frank W. Watson and grandson an unknown person and father-in-law H. W. Ardinger.⁵

     Marvin Strong appeared on the 1850 Federal census of Lansingville, Tompkins County, New York, enumerated 4 September 1850 He was enumerated with children Alice age 7 and Walter age 4/12. It is likely that his wife Charlotte died giving birth to Walter. They were living next to Giles Gregory and his family..³

     Caroline Strong was born on 15 May 1817 in Lansingville, Tompkins County, New York.^1,2 She was the daughter of Simeon Prime Strong and Phoebe Goodwin.^1,2 Caroline Strong married Rev. John Wesley Pratt on 31 December 1840.^1,3,2 Caroline Strong died on 28 February 1895 in Lansingville, Tompkins County, New York, at age 77.¹ She was buried in Strong Family Cemetery, Lansingville, Tompkins County, New York.¹

     Edgar F. Bissantz was born on 8 August 1901 in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas. He was the son of George Frederick and Auguste (Oerke) Bissantz.^1,2,3 He married Mary Elizabeth Mathewson, daughter of Edward Payson Mathewson and Alice Barry, on 18 July 1926 in St. Bartholomew's Chapel, New York, New York County, New York, as her first husband. They immediately left for an eight month trip to Europe.^4,5 Edgar F. Bissantz died on 2 October 1998 at age 97.      Edgar and his mother Augusta were listed as arriving in New York, New York County, New York, on the ship Oscar from Copenhagen on 21 November 1914. The passenger list gives his birthplace as Kansas and lists his father as head of that household. His mother was born in Germany so they were probably in Europe visiting relatives.³ He graduated from Cornell University, Ithaca, Tompkins County, New York, in 1926 with an A. B.¹ He and Mary Elizabeth Mathewson appeared on the 1930 Federal census of Pasadena, Los Angeles County, California enumerated 4 April 1930 His occupation was listed as draughtsman in an architectural office..⁶

     Sufferance Haynes was born in 1617 in Shaftesbury, Dorsetshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of Walter Haynes and Elizabeth Gourd.¹ Sufferance Haynes married Nathaniel Treadway on 10 May 1640 in Massachusetts Bay Colony. They had seven children.¹ Sufferance Haynes died on 22 July 1682 in Sudbury, Massachusetts Bay Colony.¹
     Sufferance was also known as Sufrany.² She immigrated on the Confidence, departing from Southampton, England, 24 Apr 1638, arriving circa June 1638 with her parents Walter Haynes and Elizabeth Gourd.^3,4,5
