Gardner and Deborah Bradford.1 Daniel Morton Gardner married as his second wife Nellie Townsend, daughter of John Townsend and Joanna McCarty, circa 1894. Daniel Morton must have been married twice based on the ages of his daughters in the 1900 census - the oldest daughter was only 10 years younger than Nellie.2 Daniel Morton Gardner died before 1930 (his wife was called a widow in the 1930 censns.)3
