     Thomas Hanson was born date unknown. D. Buchroeder says he was the son of Randolph Hanson, but this link is still unproven.^1,2 He married Sarah Ray, daughter of John Ray and Sarah (?), before 1690.¹ Thomas Hanson died on 1 November 1713 in Province of Maryland.¹
     He left a will on 29 October 1713 in Province of Maryland.³ His will was proved/probated on 3 October 1714 in Province of Maryland.³

     Sarah Ray was born circa 1671 in Lancashire, England. Her birthdate is estimated from an age of 65 in 1736.^1,2 She was the daughter of John Ray and Sarah (?)^1,2 Sarah Ray married as her first husband Thomas Hanson before 1690.¹ Sarah Ray married as her second husband Benjamin Tayman.¹ Sarah Ray died before 9 November 1745.¹
